Food is Free Tacoma is a project led by Urban Farmer David Thompson. It’s a chapter of worldwide organization, Food is Free Project.
This summer, I joined the Facebook group and happened to witness the crazy awesome amount of growth that the group experienced in just a few months. The group found itself with close to 1,000 members last week, so I decided to offer some help in one of the few ways I’m not too busy to do right now - web design.
On the Wix platform, the website had originally been set up a few years ago, with limited resources to be kept up. The content that has been produced surrounding this awesome community of volunteers is too great to not have a home that shows it off, so I spent a few hours doing some re-building.
